I just registered for my spring classes. It sounds so weird to be graduating in the Spring of 2008, especially considering I graduated from High School in the Spring of 1998. This is the lightest load I've had since my first year back after Eleanor came along. I have 8 units! I need to go see my counselour one more time, just to make sure there isn't some stupid class they forgot to tell me I need. Here's the schedule:
Professionalism & Leadership FCSE 499 Wednesday 6:00-6:50pm
Nutrition Statistics, Assessment, and Techniques NUTR 436L Monday 5-6:50pm and Thursday 6:00-8:45pm
Medical Nutrition Therapy NUTR 438 Tuesday/Thursday 3:30-4:45pm
So, the bad news is I can't do FAITH on Monday nights, yet again. Maybe this is God's way of saying "Slow Down!" Or, he's trying to tell me to witness at school. I'm already in the mission field I suppose. Also, I will be bored into all hours of the night too many nights of the week.
The good news is, I will still be able to do AWANA, although I'll probably be a little late. Also, I'll be able to pick Eleanor up from school all the days that I have her! And.....it's my last semester! I am going to throw myself a huge party, or take a giant vacation...either way I'm gonna celebrate! God is good.....

I am so proud that you are on your way to graduating. I am sitting here thinking about what I should be doing with my life,other than homeschooling the girls. Is there something financially I could do while being able to guide them through their days? I am a night person, but I wouldn't even know what kind of job to do. Some nursing school in the way early 90's doesn't get you much.

I don't even know what to say. Sometimes I just want to stay at home with Ella and screw the whole school thing, but financially I really can't. Other times, when I do have quite a bit of free time, I wish I was at work. Staying at home seems so boring. I will say I don't recommend doing school if you already feel like you have a lot on your plate. I feel insane on days like today..running from place to place. I can hardly breathe. But sleep seems impossible, because my mind is so consumed with the story of my life. I'd rather be bored than where I'm at right now.
I was thrilled to read that your load will be lighter in the spring...finally! I think that's great.

hahahaha Jen. You should start a blog. You could put up cute pictures of AJ. You know, I think you can make it private. That goes for all of you who randomly read our blogs, and never give US anything interesting to read!
