On Holiday

I really liked that cool weather we were having. I didn't realize it until it was gone. I was/am seriously hot today. I am trying to have one of those true-day-off kind of days...you know, the kind where you don't do anything but lay around in your pj's and watch tv, you eat way to much, you only go out if it's to shop for things you don't really need. But the weather is making that all seem impossible. That, and the fact that my Mom is home today (love you Mom), the weather makes not taking a shower seem like a bad choice, and I'm studying for a test tomorrow.

On the flip side....I did go shopping for stuff I didn't need, I watched the Sound of Music, I watched Heroes, I ate a tamale, scalloped potatoes, pickles, beef jerky, and too many pieces of Halloween candy. I played Christmas music. I went online at least 3 times. Franky had a nice trip around the yard. Altogether not bad for a Monday holiday. To think...we only have a week and 2 days until the next holiday.....

And Jennifer, you really have no idea how much of a relief it was to think today that I'm almost done with the semester. Thank you for bringing that up. I just have a little over a month left and then I'll only have 5 months of school left! I really can't believe it's almost over. I feel like looking up to make sure the sky isn't falling or lightening isn't about to strike. I mean graduation was my intention, I just can't believe it's actually happening!
