Friends Tell the Truth

Noelle, we are truly blessed to have so many great friends. I used to reminisce about the past and wish I could return to days of old when friends seemed abundant. But when I look back on it now I think, those weren't really friends at all. They were people to hang out with when avoiding life. I rarely told them what I really thought of the choices they made or they me. We didn't recover from speed bumps, which is why we aren't friends anymore. The most important ingredient in this recipe is a unity we have. We are one in Christ. I often describe people from church as family. As flustered as yall get me at times, I wouldn't trade you for all the money in the world, or friends for that matter. I thank God upon every remembrance of you.

This has just turned out to be one fantastic weekend. I will never forget it.

I am so glad that church is fulfilling you as much as it has been me lately. We should really hang out some time. I find that the friendships/relationships here at church are centered around kindness and appreciation for one another whereas old friendships were more self-centered and not dependable. It's good to know there are people out there with goodness in their hearts that you may trust and truly feel at home with. I don't know you too well due to the fact we've really only said hi a couple times and talked at the picnic, but you have a lovely personality and are truly blessed at being kind to others. I hope you continue to enjoy such frindships at church.

Jourdan,
That's very sweet of you. Wait until you get to know me though before you jump to conclusions! :)It would be great to hang out. I don't have a lot of free time these days, but I'll try and figure out a way. I haven't figured out just yet how I'm going to chat with you, but I'll get back to you soon.
