Happy New Year!

Somehow I always manage to get suckered into making a new year resolution. I have to admit, it had crossed my mind. Lose weight. Read the Bible everyday. It isn't that these aren't good goals, I think it's really good that people want to improve themselves. I just think it's strange that we only think this through once a year. I've been wanting to lose weight for awhile now. I've been wanting to get back to reading my Bible everyday.

Anyhow I am so happy with the way things are. I've got good family, good friends, health, and so much more. My life is brimming over with blessing from the Lord. I want you all to know how much I value and adore each of you and thank God for you. I pray he blesses you richly too.

I think one of my goals is to read more books to my children. I just started the Little House on the Prairie series with all the kids. It is so interesting! I watched the shows growing up but I never read the books. I am also reading some of the classics with the boys. And my firstborn and I are going to read Anne of Green Gables together.

That's great you are reading your Bible everyday. I am currently in Proverbs. I read a few chapters a day.

I know I really enjoyed my Mom reading to me. One of my favorites was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis.

I am trying to do the Bible reading. Only done 2 of 3 days so far, but I'll catch up tomorrow.

By the way, I am very interested in the hiking, just need more info and a specific date. Let me know.

I just ordered my 2nd born the whole C.S. Lewis series. He was interested in reading all of them. I'll send out another e-mail about the hiking soon.

If you want you could borrow mine, save yourself a few bucks. I don't know what else I still have around, but I'll look. Thanks for the email.
